1. Mannanam Nalagamam

It is the first part of Mannanam chronicle written by St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias Himself. The chronicle describes the origin of the congregation, the history of the congregation after St. Kuriakose Elias became the Malpan and the details of the discussion about the foundation of Mannanam press.  It also gives details about Rocos Schism.

 

2. Mannanam Nalagamam : 1855 - 1870

It is the second part of chronicle written by St. Chavara himself. The chronicle contains the details regarding the first profession of first eleven members, Origin of first monasteries and institutions and the history of Rocos Schism.

 

3. Anastasyayude Raktha Sakshyam

It is a poetical story written by St. Chavara with the intension of binding together the faithful of Kerala Catholic Church against the great Rocco's schism. It was written in 1862. The poetry’s harmony was same as that of the ‘Vallapattu’ ‘Amma kannimani ennapolae’.

 

4.Maranaveetil Cholvanulla Parvam

Written by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara intended to be sung when the corpus is placed in the coffin for public homage. The articles of faith related to the death of a man are enumerated and beautifully illustrated with stories or Incidents, the poet heard or read. That good deeds or ‘virtues’ are the only reliable things that would befriend man once he meets with his death, is the central idea of this poem.
